The ornament using traditional fused glass technique, which was known already to the Egyptians ca. 2000 BCE.
The pattern is made by placing powdered frit glass or paint between two layers of clear glass.
The stack is fired in the kiln where it fuses softening the edges. The whole “heating process” takes about 48 hours.
Some bubbles are a natural occurrence in fused glass.
Each piece comes with a short description of the technique used.
